Harp harmonics is a technique that I’m still growing in. I first heard harp harmonics listening to Tommy Emmanuel playing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” on YouTube and I was mesmerized by it. I immediately wanted to figure out what was going on.

I went to YouTube and found the technique. Even with my classical guitar background I found the technique to be tricky. BUT harp harmonics is one of the most beautiful techniques I can do now and it just feels so great to be able to express myself creatively with it, and to do it in a riff like this!

YOU TOO can achieve it if you put some time aside to practice. I worked on this technique while watching TV and it made the psychology of “practice” a lot easier!
