Electric guitar is fantastic for many reasons: it’s generally easier to play than acoustic, it has a smaller body, and it can sound different depending on what timbre you want! 🎨

I actually learned how to play guitar on an electric first, then moved to acoustic. It made barre chords, power chords, and fundamentals like hammer-ons and pull-offs a lot easier to master! Just make sure that the guitar is set up properly by a technician (and honestly, it should be the same for your acoustic/nylon guitar too). ✅

This is an ambient tone I got from plugging up my electric into a DAW. If you want to try it out, a fender-style clean amp, 1/4 note delay with about 30-40% mix, and 5-10 second reverb at about 30% mix will get you this sound! 👨🏻‍🍳
