Music therapist, do you know what a 10th chord is? 🧐

10th chords are some of the most beautiful sounding chords because they focus on the two notes that matter: the root, and the “color note”, the 3rd (but up an octave) 🎨

10th chords have been used in many riffs, but there are also MT applications like barre chord substitutions, lowering stimulation (in comparison to the full string barre chords), and adding droning strings for “vibe” music like in this riff! 😎
