Music therapist, TRIADS is easily the most useful, advanced, and powerful techniques that you can learn on guitar. Once you learn triads, you never see the fretboard the same way, it opens possibilities for riffs, and it provides fretboard freedom 🤯

So what are they? You remember in music theory that chords are made up of 3 notes. On guitar, the “cowboy chords” we play are those 3-4 notes but some repeat across the 4-6 strings. Once you get the string muting, you only need to play the triad to outline the chord (aka, not the entire barre chord). 🤯
