More Voices Level 2 Breakdown
In music therapy, we often write songs to meet clinical goals. Having guitar accompaniment ideas can really add depth to the songs that you write in music therapy sessions. The “double stop” is a great “tool” to put in your songwriting “toolbox”! 👌🏼
I’ll often use double stops in many different ways, but an easy one for you to try is just doing a simple fingerpicking pattern and ascending/descending the scale for a verse-part, then do a strum for the chorus! 🙌🏼
Have you ever used double stops in a music therapy session before? 🤔
Happy riffing! 🎸
