Music therapist, do you use pull-offs while playing guitar? 🧐

Pull-offs are basically the opposite of hammer-ons. They add color to your playing. If you wanted to practice this while strumming, a good exercise is to play a quarter-note strum while doing the HO and PO in eighth note subdivisions. It will help you get comfortable with not changing your strumming hand, while doing HO and POs. 👍🏼

Also, I call the lick a “hexatonic lick” because I’m using a 6 note scale, but I don’t know if that’s the name for this scale: the pentatonic scale with the added scale degree 7, or “ti” for you solfège people! 🤓
