Beyond D Riff

Music therapist, did you know you could do THIS with your D chords? 🤯

The guitar is an instrument of shapes and patterns. Once you learn them, you can move them around the fretboard to get different sounds. One of the strengths of the guitar is moving these shapes with droning strings. This is the skill that’s featured this weeks riff and in my new CMTE course, “Beyond G, C, and D”. 👍🏼

For music therapy applications, there are shapes out there that can replace difficult barre chords, be used in adaptive lessons, and to increase your pallet of creativity with guitar. 🙌🏼

So grab your guitar, and let’s play! 🎸
